As many parts of Europe and the US suffer increasingly severe impacts of coronavirus, the hospitality industry is one of those struggling to survive. This is having fast and devastating consequences for workers and their livelihoods. Sadly there is no solution. However there are some small glimmers of hope. Schemes that have appeared in the UK and US such as Pay it Forward & The Dining Bond allow even the smallest of businesses to register (for free) and enable customers to buy vouchers now, for future use, providing businesses with some immediate cash flow help.
