ONE PLANET PLATE

One Planet Plate is a global campaign that enables diners to vote with their fork for a better food future by dining at participating restaurants and choosing these ‘sustainable specials’.

Since its launch in 2018, more than 200 chefs have taken the opportunity to contribute their recipe for a One Planet Plate, a dish that encapsulates their ethos and crucially is climate-kind. Diners can discover and digest the recipes online on the One Planet Plate website or choose from one of the 2,000+ eating out destinations to find out what delicious sustainable food actually looks, smells and tastes like.

We are now launching One Planet Plate in Hong Kong! To celebrate, join us for a series of themed workshops running from 12 October-23 November, each based on one of the One Planet Plate criteria, hosted by a chef from the Food Made Good network.

The dish must meet one or more of six criteria:

FEATURE MORE VEG

INCLUDE BETTER MEAT

CELEBRATE LOCAL
AND SEASONAL

HAVE A LOWER
CARBON FOOTPRINT

SOURCE FISH SUSTAINABLY

WASTE NO FOOD

As chefs demonstrate how they’re contributing to a better food future, diners can enjoy guilt-free eating whilst out or at home with our delicious recipe list.

We’re working with chefs around the world, including Anna Hansen of Modern Pantry, Skye Gyngell of Spring, Thomasina Miers of Wahaca, Damian Clisby of Petersham Nurseries, Chantelle Nicholson of Tredwell’s, Yotam OttolenghiJamie OliverAngela Hartnett of Murano, Richard H Turner of Hawksmoor, and Enda McEvoy of Loam.

Want to get involved? Join us at the One Planet Plate launch on 12 October 2020  at WWF-Hong Kong Central. Meet your fellow chefs and get inspired! Help us kick off our 6 week workshop series!
