NEW RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE

Specific measures include*:

(1) Catering business.

From 6pm to 4.59am of the subsequent day, catering business must stop selling or supplying food or beverages on premises. They may still sell or supply food and/or drink for takeaway services and deliveries. 

Maximum number of persons per table for catering premises are:

Type B = 2

Type C = 4

Type D = 6

The maximum number of customers per premises and per banquet will remain unchanged.

 

(2) No live performance and dancing activity is allowed in catering premises.

 

(3) Bars or pubs will be closed.

 

(4) Cessation of mass events to avoid group gatherings.

 

(5) Unless exempted, group gatherings of more than four persons in public places or catering business is not permitted.

 

The HKSAR Government has announced that social distancing measures will be extended until the 3rd of February 2022**

Get your fifth round of subsidies now

The Government is operating the fifth round of the Anti-epidemic Fund – Catering Business Subsidy Scheme (Liquor Licence (with Bar Endorsement) of Licensed Restaurant). The Scheme is now open to applications from eligible Liquor Licence holders with bar endorsement of licensed restaurants for a grant of one-off subsidy until 5 p.m. on 18 Feb.

A one-off subsidy of $25,000 will be released to eligible licence holders of the liquor licensed premises which are required to be closed the whole of its premises.
